May was resident artist at the Limassol Studios, Cyprus College of Art, when
he first came to Cyprus in 2004 and now works from his own studio.
He studied History & Design at East London University UK in 1968.
Extensive travel, including work as a volunteer in Africa for many years, has
played a major influence in his work. Recent focus on figures and the nude
reflect the images of humanity that have had a deep impression on his life.
